Swami Dayanand Merit India Scholarships 2024-25: The Swami Dayanand Education Foundation, established in 2015 by Mr. Ashutosh Garg and its founding trustees, was created with the noble purpose of providing scholarships to college students in both India and the United States. From its inception, the foundation has remained committed to ensuring that quality higher education is accessible to all deserving students, irrespective of their financial backgrounds.

About the Program
The Swami Dayanand Merit India Scholarships for the academic year 2024-25, presented by the Swami Dayanand Education Foundation (SDEF), are designed to support outstanding and deserving students pursuing professional studies in fields like engineering, medicine, and architecture across India. This scholarship program is available to students attending both government and private institutions. Its primary goal is to uplift bright and talented individuals who are experiencing financial constraints, enabling them to pursue and successfully complete their higher education without monetary barriers.
Selected scholars will receive financial support of up to INR 1,00,000 annually to aid their academic journey.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be enrolled as first- or second-year students in engineering, medical, or architecture programs at recognized government or private institutions in India.
- First-year applicants should have secured a minimum of 80% in their Class 12 board examinations, while second-year applicants need to have a CGPA of at least 8.0 in their first year.
- The scholarship is open to students across India
- The annual family income from all sources should not exceed INR 15 lakhs.
- Additionally, applicants must have a JEE/NEET All India Rank (AIR) below 30,000, and there should be no more than a one-year gap after completing Class 12.
Benefits
- Students with an AIR below 5,000 will receive INR 1 lakh per year.
- Students with an AIR ranging from 5,000 to 15,000 will be awarded INR 75,000 per year.
- Students with an AIR between 15,000 and 30,000 will be granted INR 50,000 per year.
