Eligibility for PhD program :

General eligibility for PhD Admission
Master’s degree in engineering, Science with at least 60%marks or at least 6.0/10 CPI or CGPA for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC (55% for SC/ST/PD) B.Tech and B.S (4 years) or equivalent (with valid GATE score) with at least 60% marks or at least 6.0/10 CPI or CGPA for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC(55% for SC/ST/PD)
BTech and B.S (4 Years) or equivalent (without valid GATE score)with at least 60% marks or at least 6.0/10 CPI or CGPA for GEN/GENEWS/OBC (55% for SC/ST/PD)
The criteria of the admission to the PhD will follow institute guidelines for post graduate programs.

About Rishabh Centre for Research and Innovation in Clean Energy :

⮚ The MoU to set up the Centre was signed between IIT Jodhpur, Rishabh Instruments Ltd and Ivaan Foundation
⮚ The aim of the Centre is to support researchers and startups in identified areas of Clean and Green Energy Technologies
⮚ Ivaan Foundation has committed to provide financial support of around Rs. 70 crores for the establishment of the Centre.

JODHPUR, 03-JANUARY-2023: Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rishabh Instruments Ltd. and Ivaan Foundation to set up the Rishabh Centre for Research and Innovation in Clean Energy. The MoU was signed between Dr. Santanu Chaudhury, Director, IIT Jodhpur and Mr. Narendra Goliya, Chairman and Managing Director, Rishabh Instruments Ltd. and Ivaan Foundation.
The Centre’s main aim is to facilitate basic and applied research by utilizing the knowledge base of faculty and researchers at IIT Jodhpur. The Centre will also look for opportunities to engage with other academic institutions, technology centers, startups and industries spread all over the country.
The research & technology roadmap of the centre will enable collaborative research through appropriate programs and lead to the development of new and enhanced technologies for cutting-edge future applications. The Centre will have close linkage with respective industries and leverage the robust innovation ecosystem of IIT Jodhpur for technology translation and product development.
