About Jammu Central University :

The Central University of Jammu (CUJ) is a public university located in Samba, Jammu, and was established in 2009 by an Act of the Parliament. It is one of the 12 new Central Universities created to increase access to higher education and promote academic excellence in various regions of India.

Fellowships are the most important part of student support. Central University of Jammu assist the students and
researchers in availing these fellowships by providing guidance to the students for clearing the National level exams for
the fellowships. Researchers who are pursuing PhD and those who have cleared their UGC (JRF)/ GATE are availing the
fellowships offered by University Grants Commission and Council for Scientific and Industrial Research. Various other
fellowships availed by the University students are NGOBC, RGNF, Single Girl Child, Pahari Speaking, Post Matric
Scholarship for SC/ST students, PMS-Minority etc.
