CSIR Direct SRF & RA Fellowships Eligibility
FOR SRF
- MSc/BE/B. Tech or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks and one publication in Science Citation Indexed OR
- M.Tech/ME or equivalent degree in engineering/technology with at least 60% marks OR
- BE/B. Tech or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks and two years of research experience as on the last date of application. OR
- MBBS/BDS or equivalent with at least 60% marks and one-year internship. OR
- BPharm/BVSc/BSc (Ag) or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks and one publication in SCI Journal OR
- M Pharm/M V Sc/MSc (Ag)/MPhil or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks and one Publication in SCI Journal
FOR Research Associate
Candidates with a PhD in science or engineering, or an MD/MS/MDS in medical sciences, or an ME/MTech/MPharm/MVSc, and at least three years of R&D experience by the application deadline, are eligible to apply.
This experience can be demonstrated through fellowships, associateships, or the date of PhD registration.
Those who have submitted their PhD thesis in science or engineering are also eligible for the Research Associateship (RA), provided that the selection is contingent on the successful completion of the PhD viva-voce and the award of the PhD degree before the validity of the offer expires.
CSIR Direct SRF & RA Fellowships Age Limit
- Senior Research Fellowship (SRF): Maximum 32 years as on the last date of application
- Research Associate (RA): Maximum 35 years as on the last date of application
CSIR Direct SRF & RA Fellowships Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through interviews, with shortlisting based on their academic qualifications, professional experience, research publications, and evaluation of their proposed research work. The selection process will involve expert committees, organized by discipline, who will assess the candidates’ credentials and research proposals at a high level.
